Community Voices: Prop E and Coronado

One of the things I like about elections in Coronado is finding out the pulse of the community on a given issue. While it is certainly unpleasant to be on the losing side of an election, I will always appreciate the opportunity to gain a greater insight into the wishes of our electorate, and with the defeat of Proposition E, our community is directing our schools to make do with the resources at hand. I continue to have great confidence in our School Board and their administration in guiding us through these difficult financial times and I look forward to learning more about how they will move us forward in spite of challenges like diminished per pupil funding under the State’s new LCFF formula.
