Congrats to Coronado Middle School softball, 4-3 Champions over Christian at Green Field on Wednesday February 5th . It’s been many years, this team was always the runner up. Congrats to first year coach Brenda Smith and her staff. These girls got a lead, lost a lead, tied it, and won it, all with amazing home plate tag outs, running left field catches, in the park homers! In the photo it’s easy to see joy, friendship and some pride, an index finger in #1 formation means just as much to these kids as any other athletes ! The coaches were asked to get in the photo, they all said “it’s about the kids”. That says it all! A season to remember for Coronado Middle School softball 2013/14!
