The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams take team titles on Wednesday November 6th at Mission Bay Park.
The teams competed against eight other school teams to take the league championships! The boys were led by overall meet 2nd place finisher Luke Klingenberg. The boys won first place by 23 points over the next best school team. For the girls this year it’s Chapin Miller-Maes leading the team to first place. Head Coach Brian Schumeyer, the coaching staff and Athletic Director Rob Smith got the most out of the kids to win the championship.
The Islander Sports Foundation thanks the coaches and staff, school administration for working with our student athletes, and of course the parents for traveling, driving and cheering the kids to the finish!
