Today, Tuesday, Sept 13, has been proclaimed Steve Wampler Day in San Diego County! Steve is being celebrated for his amazing tenacity in living a maximum life in spite of having cerebral palsy. The most amazing example was a year ago this week when he climbed Yosemite’s El Capitan. Watch Steve on Channel 9 this Friday at 6, 6:20, and 7:10 a.m. being interviewed regarding his climb and this weekend’s event.
Steve is continuing to raise funds to support camps for disabled children. This Saturday is the ultimate Wampler Happening: WALL, the movie about his climb up the mountain, is to be premiered at Tidelands Park on the baseball diamond. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort at all ticket levels except the table seating.
The event begins at 5 p.m. The 80-minute movie will be shown at 7:30.Tickets are still available and will be sold at the park for $35 for adults and $15 for kids 18 and under; there will be concession snacks available for purchase. No food/drinks (except water) may be brought into the venue.

No children are allowed in the service section where alcohol is provided.
Easy access to the venue is the service road adjacent to the concession stand at the baseball diamond. Walk, ride bikes, or get dropped off there. Parking will be challenging. SEE YOU THERE!
