Sacred Heart Parish School will host its 10th annual golf tournament at Coronado Municipal Golf Course on Friday, October 7. Once again, the event features a $1,000,000 Hole-in-One Shootout immediately following the tourney, where four lucky finalists in a Closest-to-the Pin contest will each get one shot at becoming millionaires at the 18th hole. Last year a player missed it by less than 20 feet!
The individual $175 entry fee includes: green fees, cart usage, tee bag, range balls, special contests at various hole such as Longest Drive and Beat the Pro. In addition, players will receive commemorative Sacred Heart golf-wear and enjoy a BBQ lunch plus a post-play prime rib dinner, trophies, raffle items and mini-auction. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Those unable to make the tournament are cordially invited to join the fun at the Clubhouse golf dinner and post play festivities at 5 pm. For $40 school supporters will enjoy the meal and evening’s activities, which include watching the $1,000,000 Shootout at 5:30 pm.
Volunteers from the school’s Parent Teacher Group organize the annual tournament and thank area businesses for their generous contributions over the past decade. The proceeds from the event will directly benefit the children and educational excellence at Sacred Heart Parish School.
Sponsors and donors are invited to help support the event at various levels. Items or services that can be used for door prizes, drawings and auctions, such as sports tickets, restaurant coupons and spa gift cards in any amount, are always welcome. Contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
