So far this year there have been 5978 cases of Pertussis reported (including 10 infant deaths) throughout California. We haven’t seen this many since 1950 when 6,613 cases were reported.
The California Department of Public Health is recommending all Californians 10 yrs and older receive a booster shot known as TDaP.
TDaP vaccination should be covered by insurance so see your doctor. For those with no insurance coverage, we are offering them for $59 as a public service during walk-in Flu shot clinic hours.
