6th Grade Camp – CMS Appreciates Community Support

CMS sixth graders will be attending the annual San Diego County Outdoor Education Camp at Camp Cuyamaca from January 29, 2018 to February 2, 2018. This exciting and educational week-long program provides our students with a variety of hands-on, real life activities and experiences in the Cuyamaca Mountains under the supervision of CMS teachers and the San Diego Outdoor School Camp staff.

The cost for each child to attend this memorable experience is $380. While many of our children’s families are able to meet this financial requirement, others find that this fee presents a significant hardship. CMS ensures that every student who wants to attend camp has the opportunity to do so, and we truly appreciate the support of our community members!

If you are interested in helping to make camp a reality for every student, we encourage you to be a part of our “Adopt a Camper” program. Interested individuals or companies are invited to make a donation of any amount. Please make checks payable to Coronado Middle School.

If you would like more information about the San Diego County Outdoor Education Camp (www.sdcoe.net), please feel free to call our school secretary, Dollyanne Hutchins at Coronado Middle School (522-8921, ext. 3097).

On behalf of the CMS Tritons, we thank you for your support of this once in a lifetime educational experience for our sixth graders.
