The Coronado Chamber of Commerce along with Coronado MainStreet are proud to co-sponsor the 8th Annual Car Procession as the kick-off event to the Coronado Speed Festival. This event is part of the annual Fleet Week San Diego celebrations. The community is invited to this free event to watch 40 hand-selected vintage race cars cruising the streets of Coronado on Thursday, September 15th starting at 4:30 pm. The first 50 families will receive a Coronado Speed Festival hat to have signed by the drivers (limit one per family). The cars will travel down Orange Avenue then park at the Rotary Plaza at Isabella Avenue for closer inspection. This event is family-friendly and open to the public.
Join the Chamber at Rotary Plaza to meet the drivers, get up close to the hot race cars and enjoy a free cup of cold lemonade and some popcorn!
