Summaries: -2 bikes stolen (unlocked) -6 traffic collisions May 22 -Grand theft where a cell phone was stolen during a party (Sandpiper Way) -Report of domestic violence where the victim was scared enough during verbal argument to call the police. May 23 -Lost article. A purse was lost in front of City Hall. -DUI due to alcohol/drugs .08% (5000 block Silver Strand) -DUI due to alcohol/drugs .08% (800 Orange Ave.) May 24 -Willful flight with injury or death. Hit and run with injury or death. Resist arrest. Driver and passenger in car fled after officers initiated traffic stop (1000 Isabella) -Found explosives. Suspect left a suspicious device in front yard (100 block 4th Ave.) May 25 -Resist/delay/obstruct police. Suspect was contacted for trespassing (1200 1st St.) -DUI due to alcohol/drugs .08% (1500 block Orange Ave.) -DUI possess marijuana 28.5g or less (700 block 8th Ave.) -Disorderly conduct misdemeanor: alcohol (600 Balboa Ave) -Disturb the peace: loud noise (800 block C Ave.) -Disturb the peace where a man placed another man under citizen arrest because he disturbed the peace by talking loudly (800 C Ave) May 26 -Grand theft where suspect cut bike cable on 2 bikes and stole them -Obscene threatening/annoying phone call: male suspect calls victim and threatens to kill victim and victim’s children. May 27 -Petty theft at Village Ace Hardware where suspect puts RoundUp ($17) in her purse and leaves. -Fraudulent use of credit card (greater than $400) where suspect charges $617 at Best Buy in Culver City May 28 -Vandalism to 2 traffic signs and benches with balck marker (800 Ocean Ave.) -Contempt of court/disobey court order: violate restraining order (Spinnaker Way) May 29 -Vandalism with spray paint graffiti to bowls at the skate park -Found narcotics (900 Orange Ave.) – DUI due to alcohol/drugs .08% (1700 block Glorietta Blvd.) May 30 -Found property: 2 black duffel bags left unattended at 1200 block 1st St. San Diego Sheriff bomb unit was called to inspect, but bags only contained personal belongings. -Vandalism with white spray paint to skate park May 31 -Drunk, protective custody misdemeanor (300 block B Ave)
