The Coronado High School Homecoming Parade will be held today along Orange Avenue, beginning promptly at 3:30 p.m. There will be a band, 10 vehicles and five floats. Staging will occur in the 1000 block of Adella Avenue between Tenth Street and Ynez Place. The parade will travel northbound on Orange Avenue to Seventh Street then turn westbound on E Avenue. The parade will end at the teacher’s parking lot. Notices have been sent to all affected residences at least one week in advance of the event. There is no parking on Orange between Seventh and Ynez from 2 to 4 p.m. Signs were posted 72 hours in advance for the parking prohibition. The High School and City thank residents and businesses for their cooperation during this annual event.
