The Coronado Flower Show, one of the community’s largest and most celebrated events, takes place this weekend, April 18 to 19. Many attendees are unaware, however, that there is a Youth section of the Flower Show for children in Pre-K to Grade 8 to submit floral entries.
The rules and regulations are listed below, as taken directly from the 2015 Coronado Flower Show Schedule:
Whether you are entering the competition or not, come enjoy this annual event on Saturday from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Admission to the Flower Show is $5 for adults and is free for children ages 12 and under. The event itself is a wonderful chance to appreciate the creativity of Coronado flower lovers as well as eat, drink, enjoy live music, and shop for books at the huge Friends of the Library used book sale.
