Singer Lynda Balkam and pianist Mariah Gillespie will be performing “The Coronado Song” at 4 pm at the Cultural Arts Commission booth during 92118 Day. The public piano from Adella Plaza will be there, along with other musical instruments for attendees to explore. The composer, Joan Brown Goldberg, will also be present to hear the music that she wrote more than 30 years ago in a way that’s never been done before – piano and voice. Lyric sheets will be distributed, and everyone is encouraged to sing along!
