Cops and Robbers: Four Vehicle Break-Ins and Vandalism (1/23/19-1/31/19)

Crimes:

1/26/19: Petty Theft near 4000 block of Coronado Bay Road

Unknown suspect entered the pool area at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and stole an 18-inch long, gold-colored chain necklace. The estimated loss is $500.

1/25/19-1/28/19: Petty Theft near 300 block of A Avenue

Victim’s unlocked bicycle was taken from the front porch of the residence. The approximate value of the bicycle is $500.

1/25/19-1/28/19: Petty Theft near 400 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole several items that amounted to a $698 monetary loss.

1/24/19-1/25/19: Petty Theft near 800 block of Fifth Street

Victim reported that her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The total monetary loss amounted to $130.

1/24/19-1/25/19: Petty Theft near 400 block of Fifth Street

Unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle along the curb in front of his residence and stole $10 in US currency.

1/24/19-1/25/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 1000 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect damaged the paint to three of the victim’s vehicle using unknown tools.

1/24/19-1/25/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 1100 block of First Street

The building manager at the Landing reported graffiti on several poles located in Centennial Park, next to the building he manages.

1/23/19-1/25/19: Fraudulent Use of Account Information near 700 block of H Avenue

Unknown suspect stole a black leather bag from an unlocked vehicle. A credit card from the victim’s stolen items was fraudulently used to make a purchase at a restaurant. The total monetary loss is $216.38.

1/23/19-1/24/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Felony) near 800 block of Olive Avenue

Unknown suspect scratched the side of several vehicles at the location.

1/23/19: Exhibiting Firearm near 1000 block of First Street

Subjects were involved in an altercation stemming from a “road rage” incident. During the altercation, one of the subjects displayed a silver revolver, while the other displayed a pair of silver pliers. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

1/27/19: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 7400 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

61 year old male

1/26/19: Parole Violation on Felony Charge – Felony near 2000 block of Second Street

48 year old male

1/24/19: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1000 block of Ocean Boulevard

52 year old male
