Cops and Robbers: Wedding Ring Set Stolen (10/5/18-10/18/18)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

10/15/18: Grand Theft Property near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Victim reported that she believes that on 8/18/18 an unknown suspect took her 14TK white gold diamond wedding ring set, valued at $11,577.40, from a table near the Hotel Del Coronado pool.

10/12/18: Grand Theft Property near 500 block of F Avenue

Victim purchased a stainless steel Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra XXL watch on an internet site valued at $4,056. Ticino Watch Lab Sagl packaged the watch and shipped it via USPS. USPS delivered the package to victim’s residence. Upon opening the package, the watch was not located inside.

10/12/18: Petty Theft near 2000 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

Victim utilized Uber transportation and left her wallet, containing miscellaneous debit and identification cards, inside the Uber vehicle. The victim then contacted the Uber driver and requested the wallet and cards be returned. The Uber driver refused to return the items and blocked contact from the victim. The total loss is approximately $50.

10/11/18: Report of Domestic Violence near 300 block of Orange Avenue

Suspect and victim have a prior dating relationship. After giving the suspect a ride, the victim became fearful and called police to have the suspect leave the area.

10/5/18: Bookmaking/Pool Selling near 900 block of Orange Avenue

Subject is suspected of conducting gambling/bookmaking activity at Starbucks Coffee shop.

10/18/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

21 year old male

10/14/18: Outside Warrant on Felony Charge – Felony near 800 block of Orange Avenue

51 year old male
