What we need on our Coronado City Council are people who do not have an agenda that kowtows to one special interest group, we need Council members that can look at problems and have a NON Bias solution or solutions that benefit everyone and we need honest answers to hard questions, not political ones.

Peter Jensen is a long time Coronado resident, lawyer, and someone that would  bring a wealth of public service and government interaction to the City Council. Peter has had years of experience working and interacting with numerous governors of California, various government entities here in California, plus he was a highway patrolman, and he is an appointed trustee to the court.

Peter understands how government works and how to work with and through its nuances.

We do not need individuals who have an agenda that might curtail the family environment, or eliminate some of the great things that make Coronado a great place to live, or think the best days of Coronado are behind us.

Many of you do not like change, but not all change is bad, we have great restaurants due to our tourists, many of you rent your homes to our friends from Arizona, which, in some cases pays for your property tax and mortgage for the year, plus they spend big dollars at our local businesses.

We have an amazing sense of national pride with our military and the 4th of July parade which attracts well over 200,000 people to the island, we have Halloween on Main Street which gives families here and from over the bridge a safe environment for their kids to trick or treat, we have a Christmas parade, we have a 46 year tradition of Sunday Concerts in the Park where 4000 plus people come with their kids grandkids, grandparents, parents and many years of tradition to enjoy an afternoon of great community and music, and maybe a bottle of wine.

The financial impact of just those few events bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars to our community.

There are some running for city council who think that should change.

We need level-headed, smart, experienced people that have a pragmatic approach to problems.

Please consider Peter Jensen for city council.

Sincerely
Ray Gosselin
