Cops and Robbers: Almost $6,000 Stolen From Business Bank Account (9/27/18-10/4/18)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

10/1/18: Fraudulent Use of Account Information near 1200 block of Tenth Street

Unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s business checking account and transferred $5,850 to an unknown Capital One credit account. The victim has since recovered $4,875 of the loss, while $975 remains outstanding.

9/29/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Felony) near 1000 block of Isabella Avenue

Unknown suspect, wearing a black baseball hat and black windbreaker, used a machete to vandalize a Chinese Flame tree owned by the City of Coronado.

9/28/18: Grand Theft Property near 900 block of Ocean Boulevard

The victim parked his vehicle at the beach. Returning three hours later, he discovered his wallet and cell phone stolen from inside the vehicle. The victim believed the vehicle was left unlocked. The total value of the stolen items was over $1,000.

10/4/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 700 block of Pomona Avenue

24 year old male

10/1/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 300 block of Orange Avenue

26 year old male

9/27/18: Driving with Willful Disregard for Safety – Felony near 1000 block of Seventh Street

37 year old male
