Police Towers Will Oversee 4th of July Parade

Borrowing surveillance towers from local law enforcement agencies, Coronado’s Police Department is positioned to literally oversee the 4^th of July parade.  The Coronado Police Department says that “with the large crowds expected at the parade…we needed extra eyes on the ground and in the air.”  At least three tower units are in place at strategic points along the median of Orange Avenue. The towers provide better surveillance capability as well as a visible police presence.
