Around 12:15am Coronado PD and Fire Rescue responded to a collision involving an overturned vehicle on the 400 block of D Avenue. According to a witness on scene, an intoxicated female driver flipped her vehicle after losing control of her vehicle.
The collision caused minor damage to a nearby silver vehicle. A male passerby, who was the first to arrive on the scene of the accident, pulled the female out of the overturned vehicle through the passenger’s side door. He said “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was like ‘that’s a flipped car’. She was visibly intoxicated.” Police conducted a field sobriety test on a nearby sidewalk, which led to the woman being arrested by Coronado PD.
It appeared no one was injured in the accident.
