The Gensler Group was honored to once again be part of Coronado Hospital Foundation’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament
on Thursday, September 18 at Sea ‘n Air Golf Course, North Island.
The day was fun for all and a tremendous success for Coronado Hospital Foundation. The tournament netted $127,000 compared to last year’s net of $79,000. The City of Coronado will match this year’s funds two-for-one; tripling their proceeds to $381,000 to benefit Sharp Coronado Hospital. “The tournament would never have been as successful without Dr. Mark Tamsen’s leadership, the Golf Committee,his diligent team of volunteers, and the Foundation staff, says Gensler, CHF Board Chair.”
Coronado Hospital Foundation supports the programs, services and equipment needs of Sharp Coronado Hospital. Since its beginnings in 1978, Coronado Hospital Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the health of the community by supporting solutions to Coronado’s unique health care needs. Proceeds from this year’s golf tournament will fund two cutting edge technologies. These technologies will enhance the orthopedic and diagnostic capabilities of Sharp Coronado Hospital.
