Lucy is the perfect movie for the science-fiction and action movie lovers. In the movie, Lucy, a common citizen, gets stuck in the middle of a dangerous deal in China, which results in her having a kilogram of drugs put in her body to smuggle into the United States. Before she makes it out of China the bag breaks in her stomach causing the drugs to be released into her body. As a result, she finds that she is suddenly able to hear phone conversations from 50 feet away, and can remember events that happened when she was only a few months old. She soon realizes that the drugs are allowing her to access more of her brain capacity. As the minutes tick by she able to utilize more and more of her brain. The big question is, what will happen when she reaches 100 percent? Lucy keeps you on your seat with suspense and questions that arise throughout the movie. Moviegoer Carolyn Gauvin said “I loved the suspense and mystery of what would happen next with Lucy. All of the action kept me excited the whole time and the ending was such a dramatic twist it made me rethink the movie.”
