Pictured are Marie Balfour and Madison Smith, CHS’s own #1 doubles team and proud CHS Head Tennis Coach Rob Moore following their win at the Western League Championships earning them an automatic entry into the county-wide CIF Individual Tennis Championships. Balfour and Smith were one of the top 5 teams in the Western League and defeated Cathedral Catholic’s #1 doubles team, 7-6, 6-2 on Thursday afternoon. They begin play on Wednesday, 13 November, at 1:00 p.m. against a High Tech High (Chula Vista) team at Barnes Tennis Center. Balfour and Smith finished the season with a 34-9 overall record.
