Saturday evening October 5th fifty photographers gathered together to represent Coronado in Scott Kelby’s 6th annual WorldWide PhotoWalk. Over 28,000 photographers in more than 1,200 locations around the world participated, photographing for two hours in what is known as the largest social photography event in in history. This is the first time Coronado has been part of this popular event. Local gallery owner and photographer Dan McGeorge organized and led the group through the Village, down along Glorietta Bay, and finally to the beach for a wonderful sunset experience. Photographs taken by the group will be posted on Flicker, Google+ and other locations on the internet. Additionally, participants may enter their favorite image in a walk-sponsored photo contest.
