Kentucky Fried Chicken is offering a $20,000 scholarship to “one student who embodies Colonel Sanders’ Dedication to Community and Education” From December 1 through 13, 2011, a high school senior can follow KFC on Twitter @KFC_Colonel, and submit an application in the form of a tweeted photo, including #KFCScholar in the tweet.
KFC says this year’s Twitter Scholarship winner will be “judged solely on the photos” and the photo should illustrate “why they exemplify Colonel Sanders’ commitment to education and enriching their communities, and why they are deserving of a college scholarship.” Here’s the link to KFC’s corporate announcement of its Twitter Scholarship that includes complete rules.
