Coronado Adult Education’s Fall 2011 class schedule begins August 25.

??Coronado Adult Education’s Fall 2011 class schedule begins August 25. Classes are open to Coronado residents and residents of surrounding communities. We have a variety of exciting classes along with some new instructors this semester, and are pleased to offer the following new classes:
Ebay Made Easy and Advanced Ebay Selling taught by Amy Stough, Beginning Chain Maille Jewelry with Michelle Ryan, Facebook Made Easy taught by Leigh Tingle, Financial Literacy with Dianne Harmata, Living Trusts & Estate Planning also with Dianne Harmata, How to Use Your Digital Camera taught by Will Cattell, Intro to American Sign Language with Claudia Mulcahy, Irish Story Songs: Culture & History with Jim Hinton, Knitting taught by Elena Johnson; Love & Logic Parent Workshop with Shawni Garcia, Playing Ancient African Instruments taught by Robert Ackley and What is Holistic Health taught by Virginia Grothe.
Ceramics taught by Lee Puffer, Body Sculpting taught by Renee Cavanaugh, Italian 101 taught by Paulo Wakham, The Use of Symbolism in Feng Shui taught by Kathryn Holt, Ballet taught by Gina Sorensen – Gina is also teaching Everyday Yoga, Woodworking with Elton Lawson, French Beginners & French Intermediate with Renaud Subra, Spanish I – IV with Lorena Baca. Also, Event & Wedding Planning taught by Joan Whalen, Zumba Fitness taught by Laura Webb, Nia Dance Fitness taught by Audrey Dill, Mat Pilates/Combo and Tap Dance taught by Marena Bronson, Line Dance with Diane Rojas, Introduction to Lawn Bowling taught by Bill Hiscock at Coronado Lawn Bowling Club, Culinary for the Home Chef with Leiz Bertram, Tennis with Allen Levin, and How to Set Up & Grow Your Own Successful Coaching Business taught by Jeffrey Sooey.
In addition, we are offering the following social dance classes taught by David Vasquez:
Ballroom Basics (Waltz/Foxtrot), Intermediate Ballroom, Intro to Quickstep, Intro to Romantic Bolero, Samba, Intro to Viennese Waltz, Salsa I and Salsa II.
Computer classes offered are:
Computer/Internet Basic and Advanced, Computer Skills for Office Assistants Essential and Advanced, Intro to Word 2007 and Advanced Word 2007 with Mark Rodgers who is also offering a Web Design class this semester, Excel I and Excel II with Will Cattell, Photoshop Basics for Beginners and MAC Computer Basics with new instructor Jody Esquer, Photoshop Elements for Photographers with new instructor Dan McGeorge.
We also offer Independent Study, ESL, and a Men’s 40+ Basketball League, and Senior Aerobics.
