Nado Select had a strong showing at the 2010 Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament. The GU18 and BU17 walked away with championships, while the GU14 White and BU18 made it thru to the semi-finals.
GU18
The GU18 finished second in their bracket with 1 win, 1 tie, and 1 loss. In the semi-final match, they defeated the Nomads 1-0. The championship final went to a penalty kick shootout after a 0-0 score at full time. Valley United had shot one wide and goalkeeper Yazmin had one great save. The BU17 finished first in their bracket with 2 wins and 1 tie. The team won quarter-finals in a penalty kick shootout and moved on to win their semi-final match 1-0. In the finals against Valparaiso United FC, Nado Select won 1-0 with just 5 minutes left in the second half. Final Results Click Here
