BU11 Summer to Fall

Nado Select’s BU11 have gotten off to a good start to the Presidio season after a successful run of championships over the summer. The team won both Presidio games over the weekend and are in a three-way tie with the two Aztecs teams in the AAA bracket. Click Here to check out their Presidio results.

Over the summer, the team had a decisive win in the Crown City Classic final, defeating the Hotspurs 8-1 (Results – Click Here). In the Attack Summer Classic, the Bu11 met Arsenal in the final, winning 3-1 (Results – Click Here). The Corona Eagles fell to Nado’s Bu11 in the Hotspurs Labor Day Tournament 4-2 (Results – Click Here).

Director of Coaching Manny Neves is in his 2nd year with the team and is extremely happy with the development of the team. “Transitioning to a 11v11 game takes time, but the boys on the team are all truly students of the game. Practices are so much fun because they are all competitive, making each other better every time they step out on the field. We have been working on showing our character on the field and in every final we played, the boys truly showed their character, work ethic, and passion. I am happy with the start to the Presidio season and the boys are looking forward to the competition they will face in the AAA bracket.” said Manny Neves.
