The URT July Fourth Seal design is on a 6.1 oz. Alstyle pre-shrunk cotton t-shirt. Coronado’s tide calendar for the month of July is printed on the inside of the shirt. The back of the shirt reads, “Happy July 4th, 2010 Coronado, CA.” The URT team will be selling their shirt for $15. If you don’t pick one up at Circumnavigation they will be available the day of the parade on Orange between 8th Street and 9th Street ,and between 5th Street and 6th Street.
URT is the side project of Coronado natives Ian URTnowski and Dougie Mann. When they aren’t peddling their wares you can usually find them in the water doing anything from spear fishing to paddle boarding to playing water polo. These guys are amphibians. We love their site, especially the photography. Check’em out!
Queissersaurus-Rex Clothing Co. 100% pure awesome since 2008.
Queissersaurus-Rex is the brainchild of up and coming architect Patrick Queisser of Coronado. His shirt was inspired by the bold geometric graphics of the early 90s and is an iconic representation of Coronado’s unique Fourth of July tradition. This is Pat’s eighth consecutive year designing a Fourth shirt. In the fall, Pat is headed back to the University of Tennessee to wrap up his architect degree.
Pat’s shirt will be available at Circumnavigation for $20. The print is on an American Apparel Tri-Blend shirt (the finest t-shirt out there if you ask me). If you can’t make the ride but want a shirt text/call/email Pat at 619-743-3820 or [email protected]. For more information and to check out Pat’s other designs visit www.partywithqrex.com.
