Why I love Coronado (well, one reason among many)

The other day my vacuum broke and I wasn’t sure where to go to get it fixed. I didn’t want to lug my vacuum off the island then have to go and pick it back up. So, I mentioned it to my friend Debbie and she told me a story of when her garbage disposal was broken and she went into Coronado Hardware to ask them for help. She said that Phil Hammett and his great employees all put their heads together and gave her a great reference (even thought this is not what they do). So, I called down to Coronado Hardware to tell them my problem and Greg asked around and got me the name Coronado Appliance Repair (435-0543). I called them and Israel (very professional and friendly) told me he would be right over to pick up my vacuum and repair it. Less than 24 hours later my vacuum was returned to my front porch for a modest fee. Only in Coronado would people be so helpful. Only in Coronado can you have an appliance repair guy come PICK UP your appliance and bring it back to you. I never had to leave my house and my vacuum got fixed! I love this island!
