(April 23, 2009) CORONADO, Calif., — Coronado Unified School District’s (CUSD) Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jeffrey Felix, and Naval Base Coronado(NBC) Commanding Officer, Capt. Anthony Gaiani, smile as they sign a Blueprint for Partnership during the Coronado Unified School District’s Board of Trustees meeting April 23. The Blueprint for Partnership is the first of its kind between the school district and the Navy base. It pledges a working relationship between NBC and CUSD to help families and teachers understand the unique challenges facing military school children.
