Parent & Community SafetyNet Presentation – Thurs. 04/30/2009 7pm

Did you know… … elementary age kids have access to the world – and the world has access to them? … 80% of middle school youth would not feel comfortable going to their parents if they got “in trouble” online? … most high schoolers chat online with their friends – making personal information public? … kids know more about how to ‘protect their privacy’ from their parents than from potential predators? … there is something you can do to protect them? Our kids are digital natives – we need to know what they know. We need to know what they don’t know that can harm them. We need “tools to facilitate smart cyber choices for our first online generation”. We all need this information … please, do yourself a favor, save yourself future headaches … show up this to Granzer Hall Thursday night at 7:00.
