I just attended a news conference with Governor Schwarzenegger, San Diego Fire Chief Tracy Jarman, California Professional Firefighters President Lou Paulson and many others this morning trying to get State budget reform passed in the upcoming Special Election this May 19th.
The California Professional Firefighters urge you to vote “YES” on State Propositions 1A-1E (and “No” on 1F) on May 19th’s Special Election to help fix the State budget up in Sacramento so they don’t have to come after the City of Coronado’s money to help fill in the State’s deficit. We need to spend Coronado’s money on fixing Coronado’s local staffing and equipment shortages, not giving more of it over to the State. And your Coronado Firefighters remind you to vote for Barbara Denny on May 19th for Coronado City Council!
