5/24/18: Shoplifting near 800 block of Orange Avenue
Witness observed two juveniles take several cases of beer (valued at $143.24) from Vons grocery store and attempt to load them into a pickup truck. The witness was able to retain the alcohol and return it to Vons, while the suspects left in the vehicle.
5/22/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 2000 block of Mullinix Drive
Unknown suspect entered a locked vehicle by smashing the front passenger window and stole a purse from inside.
5/21/18-5/22/18: Petty Theft near 400 block of E Avenue
Unknown suspect stole an unlocked bicycle from the alley behind the victim’s residence. The bicycle is valued at $489.
5/19/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Felony) near 800 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect damaged three glass doors at the entry to Village Theatre. The value of each door is approximately $500 with an estimated total loss of $1,500.
5/18/18-5/23/18: Grand Theft near 1500 block of First Street
Unknown suspect stole an unlocked bicycle from a ground floor balcony. The victim estimated the bicycle’s value at approximately $1,100.
5/17/18-5/21/18: Petty Theft near 600 block of Margarita Avenue
A bicycle and bicycle equipment were stolen from the garage at the location. The victim valued the stolen property at $450.
5/17/18-5/18/18: Grand Theft near 200 block of C Avenue
Unknown suspect stole the two running boards attached to the victim’s vehicle, which was parked on the street in front of the location. The estimated loss is $1,114.
5/16/18-5/17/18: Grand Theft near 400 block of C Avenue
Unknown suspect stole six landscape lamps by cutting the electrical wiring attached to the lamps from the victim’s front garden. The approximate loss is $1,050.
5/15/18: Shoplifting near 100 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect entered Boney’s Bayside Market and stole six wine bottles. The total loss is $534.94.
5/14/18-5/15/18: Petty Theft near 600 block of I Avenue
