Cops and Robbers: Vandalism and Vehicle Break-Ins (1/16/18-1/23/18)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

1/22/18-1/23/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 1700 block of Avenida De Las Arenas

Unknown suspect vandalized a city bench and a concrete wall near the beach.

1/21/18: Burglary near 1000 block of Loma Avenue

Unknown suspect smashed in the right-rear passenger side window of a silver 2018 Chevrolet Suburban that was parked at the location. The suspect then stole two backpacks containing personal belongings of the victims. The total estimated loss is $350.

1/19/18-1/20/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 900 block of Cabrillo Avenue

Unknown suspect broke the driver’s side window on the victim’s vehicle parked at the location. The total estimated loss in damages is $200.

1/16/18: Annoying Repeated Phone Calls near 1800 block of Strand Way

The victim reported that she has been receiving numerous emails, telephone calls, voice mails, and handwritten letters over the past two months at her place of work and residence.

1/23/18: Battery on a Spouse or Cohabitant – Misdemeanor near 1500 block of First Street
60 year old male

1/20/18: Disorderly Conduct Due to Drugs – Misdemeanor near 800 block of Orange Avenue
40 year old male

1/19/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1700 block of Mullinix Drive
23 year old male

1/18/18: Burglary of the Second Degree – Felony near 900 block of Orange Avenue
21 year old male

1/18/18: Elder Abuse Causing Great Bodily Harm – Felony near 1700 block of Avenida del Sol
34 year old female

1/17/18: Driving Under the Influence of Drugs – Misdemeanor near 3500 block of Silver Strand Boulevard
22 year old male
