In the wake of a recent promotion, Bluewater Boathouse has a supply of homemade doggie bones. They’ve packaged them, two to a baggie, and are passing them out as gifts to dog walkers at Shipwreck Beach and Central Beach while the supply lasts.
Bluewater Boathouse has created an entire menu around their doggie customers. The restaurant is dog friendly on both outdoor patios (which are weatherproofed for comfort).
These particular treats are homemade “Bark” treats of rolled oats, peanut butter, panko and honey. Dogs love them. Every doggie customer to the restaurant gets one as a free appetizer.
The doggie menu at Bluewater Boathouse contains numerous items for your pet, such as the Water Dog (tuna), the Bird Dog (chicken), and the Cow Hound’s Meat ‘Roaff’ (ground beef and crumbled milk bone). All items are served with steamed green rice and raw vegetables.
The Bluewater Boathouse dog menu has received the PAW(S) of approval, an endorsement from the Coronado chapter of PAWS.
Quote of the day: “Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
