One Saturday afternoon in Coronado the Sandman and I had a 30 minute conversation about everything from his art to how he got his start. Here are some clips from this conversation.

The Sandman keeps this small booklet with him to write down the messages people request to have him create with sand.
The Sandman also writes down sketch ideas of his own. He wanted to create something that read “USS Sandman” recently after Coronado welcomed home the USS Reagan.
