One of our members, Victoria Freeman, asked us if she could start a weekly photo contest where locals were encouraged to try to guess the mystery photos that she posted. We weren’t quite sure if many folks would be interested, but we thought we would test it out.
Well, it turns out that a lot of people are playing the weekly ‘game’ and are very excited to try to figure out where the photos are located. One contest had over 40 entries! Every contest has had a sponsor donate a prize to the winner and we are looking for more. So far, we have given away shirts, flags, tickets, stickers and more. Of course, it would be great to give away hotel rooms, iPhones, gondola rides, small condos, etc., but perhaps your business can donate something a bit smaller.
It’s great exposure since we feature the story on our website, Facebook Fan page and our weekly newsletter.
