Makeover: A Photo Tour of the Renovated Spreckels Mansion

Shacknai home returns to the market

A historic Coronado mansion where two mysterious deaths occurred in 2011 returned to the market Wednesday after an extreme remodel. The asking price for the home, where Arizona millionaire Jonah Shacknai’s son and girlfriend died, is $16.9 million. The Coronado Historical Association is hosting a charity open house there from 4-7 p.m. on May 31. Proceeds will go toward the group’s preservation efforts. To RSVP, call (619) 435-7242. Here’s a glimpse of the recently done redo.
