Sharp Coronado Hospital is pleased to announce that Bruce L. Bower M.D. has recently been named its new Clinical Director and Mammography Lead Interpreting Physician.
Dr. Bower joined San Diego Imaging in 1990 and he became a member of the Sharp Coronado Hospital Medical Staff in 1996. He is Board Certified by both the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has certified added qualifications in Angiography and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Bower’s education includes an undergraduate degree from Gannon University and a Medical Degree from Hahnemann University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Bower completed his internship and Internal Medicine Residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. His Diagnostic Radiology and Fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology were completed at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis.
