Cops and Robbers: $10,000 Gold Ring Stolen

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes: 

(8/24/19-9/19/19)

9/19/19: Petty Theft near 1800 block of Strand Way

Victim reported his bicycle stolen by an unknown suspect from the bicycle rack in front of the Coronado Community Center. The bicycle was locked with a combination lock and parked at the bicycle rack located on the west side. The estimated loss is $450.

9/18/19-9/19/19: Petty Theft near 100 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect stole an unsecured bicycle from the patio area of the victim’s residence. The total loss for the bicycle is approximately $400.

9/17/19: Burglary of the First Degree near 700 block of Orange Avenue

Victim returned home to find several items of jewelry stolen from the bedroom of her residence.

9/16/19: Petty Theft near 500 block of D Avenue

Unknown suspect stole a package from the front porch of the victim’s residence. Victim estimated the total loss at $96.

9/16/19: Grand Theft Property near 300 block of D Avenue

Unknown suspect used unknown means to steal the victim’s bicycle from his residence. The cable lock was cut during the theft. The total monetary loss is $1,015.

9/14/19: Robbery near 100 block of H Avenue

Victim was robbed by three unidentified suspects in his own residence. One of the suspects was invited into his home and the other two arrived shortly after. The three suspects were able to take the victim’s mobile phone as he called 9-1-1. The suspects then fled the scene. Victim sustained minor scrapes to his arms and neck while attempting to recover his mobile device. The total loss for the phone is $200.

9/13/19: Burglary of the First Degree near 2000 block of Second Street

Unknown suspect forced entry into an occupied hotel suite while the registered tenants were away from the room. Suspect stole two bags containing personal property. The total estimated monetary loss is $2,265.

9/13/19: Attempted Burglary near 2000 block of Second Street

Unidentified subject pried the door attempting to force entry into the hotel room. The hotel room was occupied a hotel guest at the time of the attempted burglary.

8/24/19: Grand Theft Property near 1000 block of First Street

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s gold ring with three diamonds. The ring was valued at $10,000.

9/19/19: Possession of Controlled Substance (Paraphernalia) – Misdemeanor near 2000 block of Mullinix Drive

26 year old male

9/11/19: Resisting Police Officer – Misdemeanor near 800 block of Seventh Street

29 year old male
