I am writing to express my support for Marvin Heinze For Coronado Council 2016

During my tenure as President of the Silver Strand Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and at a time when it was becoming increasingly difficult to find volunteers for officer and board positions, Marvin stepped up to take on two critical and challenging leadership positions, those being Chapter Secretary and Treasurer – in both positions he has performed superbly, and has taken the chapter to higher levels of support for veterans, retirees, and active duty personnel and their families.

Marvin is always seeking to use his leadership experience to help others.  After a successful 28 year Navy career culminating as the Chief of Staff for SIXTH Fleet, he has committed himself to the city and citizens of Coronado through active involvement and leadership with numerous civic and veterans activities and organizations.  He excels in working with others and as a part of a team, is an astute problem solver, and drawing from his extensive leadership and command experience is always striving to make the whole team more effective.

Willing to listen and consider different perspectives and new ideas, I believe Marvin will be an excellent member of our City Council who will always strive for the best for Coronado, and I highly recommend your support for his election.

Thank you.

 Thomas G. Bauer
