The citric acid reacts with the bicarbonate of soda and produces carbon dioxide gas. The bubbles of carbon dioxide make the fizzy feeling on your tongue. CSES Outreach is a branch of the Computer Science and engineering Society at UCSD. They will be providing 6th - 12th graders an introductory lesson to programming and give them a hands-on experience with the resources and tools used for an university-level education.
