Get helpful cancer prevention tips, and information about screenings that can be the best line of defense against a disease that will claim the lives of half a million Americans this year. Throughout this month, cancer prevention organizations and governments worldwide have a goal to help raise awareness about cancer by educating the public about the over 100 forms of the disease, the possible symptoms, how cancer can be prevented, and what the treatments are. This program is FREE. Register to reserve your seat.
  • Learn how to take Steps to Prevent Falls with Dr. Kimberly Bell at the City of Coronado’s John D. Spreckels Center on Thu., April 18, 11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. Each year, 3 million older people are treated in emergency departments for fall injuries. In 2015, the total medical costs for falls was more than $50 billion. More than one out of four older people falls each year, but less than half tell their doctor. Dr. Bell will present information on this and other research findings relevant to effective fall prevention and discuss the benefits of medical management. This program is FREE.
