San Diego Botanic Gardens Tour is Back – January 28

Back by popular demand: a docent-led tour of the San Diego Botanic Gardens! On Monday, January 28, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., the Spreckels Center will take a group north to explore this home to many different types of plant species. Featuring over 20 different gardens from bamboo gardens to subtropical fruit gardens, it will be hard not find something you’ll love! Afterwards, we’re headed to Union Kitchen and Tap in Encinitas which features new American food and local craft beer. Transportation and admission is included; the cost of lunch and beverages is on your own. Bring water, wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, hiking shoes, weather appropriate clothing and light snacks. $70 for residents and $80 for nonresidents.
