Rotary Santa to Make Local Deliveries on Christmas Eve 2018

Once again Santa Claus will make his traditional visit to Coronado homes on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24 from 5:00 PM to approximately 7:30 PM to deliver presents to local girls and boys.

Assisted by members of the Rotary Club of Coronado and the Coronado Fire Department, Jolly Old St. Nicholas asks parents, grandparents and guardians to drop off their presents at the Fire Department between Monday, December 10 and Friday, December 21 during the hours of 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday. All presents must be giftwrapped and have labeling with the child’s name, phone number and address. Should a child’s address be unusual or hard to find, Santa would appreciate your help with directions. Due to the popularity of this program and the shortage of space in Santa’s Workshop, Santa has added the following instructions for this year:

  • One gift per child
  • Santa prefers to avoid visiting BIG parties of kids at one address.
  • Gift dimensions and weight limits: up to 2’ X 2’ X 2’ and 20 lbs.
  • Bring gift to Fire Station, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:30AM-2:30PM.
  • DROPOFF DEADLINE: Friday, December 21 by 2:30 PM (or sooner if Santa’s Workshop space becomes filled) as Santa needs to finalize his delivery plans with Rudolph and the other reindeer.

For more information please contact the Fire Department at 619-522-7374 or the Rotary Office at 619-435-8334.
