Retired Sgt Hector D. Perez, Infantry Marine from El Segundo, California.
Joined out of Los Angeles and attended boot camp at MCRD San Diego, SOI-West fox company Camp Pendleton.
Was with 3/4 Kilo and 3rd LAR BN.
Served four times in Iraq and two times in Afghanistan.
Was given the purple heart on March 31, 2011 after being wounded in Afghanistan.
Currently living in Oceanside with wife of five years, Breanna, and four year old daughter Elena.
