Our Coronado Lawn Bowling Club Celebrates 80 Years of Lawn Bowling and Coronado 125 event is close at hand (Saturday, September 19, 8 A.M. to 3 P.M.). It is our first attempt to hold a Charity Tournament event so we have faced the challenges of not knowing just how to do things. But, we have received such great support along the way that we want to sincerely thank in advance the many local businesses and organizations who are making this possible through participation and donations: The Tavern, Chase Bank, Sacred Heart, PayLease, Coronado Police Department, Emerald City, The Gensler Group, Coronado Fire Fighters, Coronado Eagle & Journal, Coronado Handyman, Eddie Grace Arts & Film, Coronado Carpet & Stone, Coronado Optimists, City of Coronado Municipal Golf Course, Kippys, Blue Bridge Hospitality, Lambs Players Theater, Wine A Bit, Coronado Historical Association, Muhl Jewelers, Boneys Bayside Market, Panera Bread, The Coronado Hospital Association, Coronado Taste of Oils, Coronado Flower Lady, and Comfort Keepers. We also want to thank the private donors (you know who you are) and the Charities themselves who have donated souvenirs for the team players: PAWS, Missionary Childhood Association, Coronado Police Explorers, Wildcoast, Missionvale USA, San Diego Burn Institute, Coronado Schools Foundation, The Meeting Place Club house, and Coronado Optimists. Lastly, we want to thank in advance KUSI who will featured us teaching the anchors to bowl on Sunday, September 13 at 9:40AM. CLBC on KUSI
