Armchair Travel Continues Successful Run at Community Center: June Program to feature Laos

CORONADO, CA (May 27, 2015) – The City of Coronado is pleased to announce the next Armchair Travel Program, which is regularly held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Coronado Community Center, 1845 Strand Way.

The featured speaker for June is Frederick Zarndt, who will present a slideshow of his many trips to Laos. The Lao People’s Democratic Republic, or as it is most commonly known Laos, is a land-locked country in Southeast Asia bordering Cambodia, Vietnam, Burma and Thailand.

The Armchair Travel program begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, in the Nautilus Room with refreshments. The presentation begins at 6:45. Admission is $5 per person.
