Today’s crazy winds and rain have caused a palm tree at 9th St and Orange Ave to snap and fall into the street around 3:45pm. It has since been dragged into the median and is out of drivers’ way.
As a reminder, sandbags are available to residents during periods of heavy rain. They can be picked up at First St. & Alameda Blvd. and Fourth St. & Alameda Blvd.
Be safe and stay alert for any possible hazards out there!
