Moo! I love ice cream. It is my favorite type of dessert to eat. It is so creamy and thick and great to have, especially, during the summer when it is hot outside, and you need a refreshing treat to indulge yourself. Well, there is just one creamery that I am in love with. I love Moo-Time Creamery!
Moo-Time creamery located in beautiful Coronado is my favorite place to go. A little, tiny creamery that has amazing frozen treats including smoothies, ice cream, cakes, cupcakes, sugar cones, waffle cones, and of course, the original cup. When I walk down the paved streets, I STOP to smell the sweet aroma of ice cream. I have to get a cone of ice cream!
When I walk into the creamery, my taste buds water like a river. I see a big, swirly, neon, bubble-gum machine full of circular bubbles of gum, a blackish-brownish type register with red, squishy numbers and letters on the top, a nicely- sized menu with tons of ice-cream flavors, box after box of candies from fruits to bright gummy candies to crunchy nuts. Lastly, I see tubs of thick, creamy, luscious, flavorful ice cream from chocolate to vanilla, to strawberry, to my favorite, which is “Birthday Cake.”
When I am waiting in line, I love to smell the delicious flavors of the shop. I smell ice cream being churned into a big, black bowl they have in the back, as well as the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup candies, the sweetness of neon sprinkles in the clear, white container, and the fresh and fruity smell of the thick, creamy smoothies. I also smell the strong, floral fragrance of perfume lingering on people as they wait in line.
It is fun to listen to the sounds of an ice-cream parlor. I hear the ice-cream maker speaking loudly, people talking, smoothie blenders blending, parent’s on their cell phones blabbing, cash register clicking, gumballs dropping, and loud music playing.
You and I touch things everyday. This is what I feel at a creamery. Leathery thin ropes, a smooth hard floor, a smooth white spoon, rough, dirty money, hard-candy shells, and the sticky door of the parlor.
Lastly, the taste of the ice cream. My favorite part of going to any dessert place is the taste. I got BIRTHDAY CAKE! Thick, cream covers every inch of my tongue. Neon, bright sprinkles melt around the batter, pretty colors swirl around as I devour it down.
