Hello ECoronado.
I wanted to give an update and apologize for the fact that I have not followed-up with my next video segment (#3) as I had previously anticipated. It was going to include bus rider comments on current Coronado public transportation issues.
Unfortunately, I am disabled and have not been well enough the past week or so to ride and interview riders on the local bus routes. I was really looking forward to producing this segment.
But I am excited to see that the current issue of voluntary removal of 6 bus stops on Orange Avenue is listed on the agenda for the upcoming City Council meeting this Tuesday, Sept 7th.
I am resting-up to attend this meeting. I urge everyone to attend and speak in support of public transportation in Coronado.
Lastly, I want to thank so many of you for all the letters and blogs in support of keeping all the bus stops in-place on Orange Avenue.
I hope to see you Tuesday at City Hall.
